This AT&T phone can handle high-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network, which is available in most major metropolitan areas. The AT&T 3G network uses the dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900 MHz network (also known as WCDMA), making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless multimedia services with speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. With a focus on simplicity, the LG Vu CU920 has a large 3-inch interactive touchscreen that's accompanied by a minimalist scroll bar design. The touchscreen provides vibrating haptic feedback so you know that you've pressed a button, and it includes a screen lock to prevent unwanted key actions. The phone also includes three hard keys--send, clear, and power/end--right below the screen. It comes with 155 MB of internal memory and it can be expanded using microSD memory cards up to 4 GB in size. The phone book has a capacity for 500 contact entries, each with space for storing 5 numbers, 2 email addresses and a picture ID.

This phone also shines as a mobile digital music player, with compatibility for MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+/eAAC+ files, customizable equalizer, playlist creation and management, and large capacity storage via MicroSD memory cards. Synchronize music from your PC (including music files from online services such as Napster and eMusic) via USB 2.0. What a lemon

I bought this phone shortly after it had come out. I was throughly excited for this phone, but after a year and some months after use I despise it. First off the touch screen is terrible. I have to calibrate it often just to keep it from randomly click buttons I don't want it to. That doesn't even work all the times. The side scrolling button never works correctly, it will randomly scroll down when I want it to scroll up. Sometimes when I click on a name to call I'll look down and it's calling a completely different person. The T9 will turn off at random, so I'll look down at the message I was typing to discover that it has been typing random letters the entire message. It's hard to personalize (such as ringtones and message tones) because of limitations (ringtones have to be less than 15 seconds and you can't change the message tone unless you have a computer program.)
The call quality is decent. I can't say anything about the internet use as I haven't used it. The camera is decent (well it's a step up from my last phone) but it takes OK pictures. I don't use the TV feature, as that is pretty useless (who wants to watch tv on a 2.5 inch screen?)
Overall I regret buying this phone.

Overall I only rate this phone as a 3 out of 5 because that's all it is. It's just ok. It's easy to use but you can't do terribly much with it.

Messaging is extremely easy. The camera takes fairly decent pictures although video quality is horrible. Volume could be louder but it's not too low that it's hard to hear. Call quality is usually top notch I must admit. The touchscreen is extremely reactive. I rarely have to press twice for anything.

One of my biggest issues with it is the web browsing. I find it to be really slow and the screen is entirely too small to make it anything other than a hassle. Loading time for everything but messaging has a noticeable lag. Loading apps or even browsing through photos takes a few seconds longer than it should.

It is a very durable phone. I have had mine for a year and half now and it really stood up to the test of time. It's been dropped on every imaginable surface and it only has a tiny scratch on the front that is barely visible. If you have a tough job or maybe small children I definitely recommend this phone.

However if it gets wet you might as well forget about it. I know phones shouldn't be getting wet in the first place but that's what did mine in. It got water spilled on it and despite following all the online instructions I could find, it crapped out on me. But overall it is an ok phone, not great but not bad.

LG Vu is the WORST cell phone I have ever owned.

The LG Vu CU920 is the most poorly designed, unreliable, frustrating cell phone I have ever owned. I honestly think that whomever is responsible for its design should be fired and/or punished simply for their lack of care or attention. I think its only redeeming quality is that it gets a pretty good signal. Otherwise...junk. I haven't even had mine for a year and I have already had to exchange it for a new one because the touch screen became completely non-functional after about four months and now it won't hold a charge.

I almost never make the time to write reviews on products but I felt obligated to share with the masses that this phone is an utter disappointment and absolute failure.

Better as a short term phone.

I've had this phone for a year and a half about and the screen is basically shot. This phone was much better for the first year I had it though.

Pros:
-I must have been lucky because my battery was never as bad as the reviews, although I didn't do anything besides text, talk, and take pictures. I was able to go about 4 days of near stand-by time.
-I loved the camera I found it took great pictures and I loved the macro feature for close-up stills.
-It was quite responsive when I first got it.

Cons:
-The touch screen seems to break relatively easily. I can touch anywhere on the screen and it only registers at the very bottom, to get it to work I need to twist the phone or press on the ear piece to maybe get it to start working again. My mom got one the same time I did and had to send hers in for a replacement because the screen locked up after only 6 months and that one in after only 4 months for the same problem.
-When answering a call you can hit buttons on the screen with your face if you don't hold it a little bit away from your face before it locks the screen.
-The keyboard is too small for people with slightly larger fingers be prepared to hit the backspace a lot if you do.
-The texting auto fill-in is horrid, it usually just gets in the way.
-The message/voicemail and other buttons at the top can be hard to hit.
-I've had it dial voicemail on me for no reason before.

Overall I don't recommend this phone unless you are only going to be using it for at most a year and I highly recommend getting insurance with this phone.

VERY BAD BATTERY LIFE WITHOUT EVEN TEXTING. RANDOMLY CONNECTED TO INTERNET AND WENT AND "PLAYED" ON-LINE AND JACKED UP MY BILL, EVEN IF THE PHONE WAS LOCKED.
TEXTING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A MAN SIZE FINGER, YOU HAVE TO BE A SPIDER MONKEY IN ORDER TO TEXT, AND THE ADAPTIVE TEXTING FEATURE THAT INPUTS WORDS FOR U IS AN IDIOT.
BOTTOM LINE: CHOOSE ANOTHER PHONE ANYTHING BUT THIS ONE!
