I need a new cell phone that can take a beating and keep on working. It needs to have bluetooth and a camera and any other features would be great. It must work with at&t (cingular). I’ve heard there are some phones that are waterproof and impact resistant. I really like Nokia phones more than anything but I’m open to suggestions.

My last 3 cell phones all seem to get a full charge faster on the car charger than with a wall charger, anyone know why this is?
Now that I think of it, my PDA and laptop and GPS all charge faster with a car charger than wall charger.
Curious.

I know they have homephones that you can use directly with your computer but I was wondering do they have cell phones that can pick up wireless internet and use it to place calls, hopefully for free or cheaper?

I swear the people talking on cell phones are worse than drunk drivers. I drive a lot and I constantly see people doing stupid things, totally unaware of what they’re doing because they’re on the phone and they think they’ve got everything under control. It’s insane.

We live in the western-most part of North Carolina. Back in the "sticks" as they say. Once we leave the main highways, our reception is extremely limited. Most of the time, it is non-existant. It is time to update our cell phones and we were hoping to obtain hand sets that would be usable in our home.

I have a bumber sticker that says *Hang up the damb phone and drive*
I hate driving and having another driver anywhere near me when I see they’re on the phone.
I know their full attention is NOT on the road and whats around them!
Insurance companys should ask people if theu use their cell phones in their car and charge extra if they do.
I know NUMEROUS people that have had accidents while driving and talking on their phone.

Most solar cell phone and iPod chargers that i’ve found are only compatible with Motorola or other expensive phones. I have a Sprint Sanyo cell phone. And since I am interested in purchasing one, I would like it to work with my products. Also, I’m on a budget, but please leave me whatever suggestions you have. Thanks!

I am seeking information for a study regarding the top selling cell phones of the last 18 months. I am trying to find a list that shows the top 5 or 6 best selling mobile devices (including smartphones, PDA’s, etc.) for each of the major carriers. (Verizon, AT&T / Cingular, Sprint / Nextel, Alltel Wireless, T-Mobile). I am hoping to be able to go back to January 2006 with this information if possible. Thanks!

Radio frequencies are extremely low energy, not even enough to get a molecule spinning around as I understand. How is it that they could have any effect on your brain?
Note: I’m not interested in whether or not cell phones actually do cause brain damage- I understand its a current topic of debate. My question is: by what mechanism could the low frequencies used for cellular phones possibly cause damage to living tissue?
