I’ve been trying to do my homework, and unfortunately the cell phones that look really cool with the best features are not usable where I live. verizon seems to have the coolest, with T-mobile next. I can get an iphone here, but the others seem better. Unfortunately, no coverage here for either company. Why can’t you just pick a phone you like and it work with a different company?

I don’t know much about this so I need help. If my friend wants to cell me his T-Mobile cell phone, can it work with Cingular if I unlock it at some kind of phone repair shop?
Verizon wouldn’t work because they use CDMA, right? But what other companies’ phones can work with Cingular? And how much does it cost to unlock a phone?

Combination Math Problem. How many different cell phones can be selected from a shipment of twenty-four cell phones? I know it can be written as 24C5. How many different combinations? Do you have to have a calculator to do this problem?

Just wondering how much of a discount do cell phone dealers get when buying phones…
I’m debating on buying a new phone with a two year contract with T-Mobile OR finding a cell phone dealer-friend to buy a phone straight from the discounted price. Is the latter more worthy? Any input is greatly appreciated!

My cell phone got broken & I am trying to find a cheap replacement for the time being. I have heard that you can buy one of the "Go Phones" & that they will work. Is there any other phones I can buy for cheap that will work? If so, where can they be bought and for how much?

I have a BTE Phonak Zoom hearing aid, manufactured about 1999. And I need a cell phone but it needs to be hearing aid compatible.
Also, we are REALLY looking to get a RAZR phone in particular. Does anyone know if RAZR phones work well with hearing aids and if so, what model?

I’m planning to buy a cell phone to my 14 year old cousin, but I know almost nothing about them. I’ve heard today’s cell phones take snapshots, video and access the internet. Which do you recommend me to buy and where? Thanks.

I have sprint and I found out the razor costs about 0 in the beginning of a plan but 0 in the middle of a plan. What cell phones just cost the same in the middle of a plan (no price limit)? I’m planning on buying a new cell phone but I’m in the middle of my 2-year plan, so I want a phone that will cost the same so I’m not really at a disadvantage.

You read about all the magnetic waves that cell phones radiate, and how it is bad for your body (especially your brain.) But what are the worst case scenarios for using a cell phone for a long period of time? Do you get cancer? Less intelligent?
Also, is it true that the lower the battery of the cell phone, the more radiation it emits?
One final question, is it harmful to keep your cell phone next to your testicles/penis (scientific terms I’m using)?
Thanks.
