Cell phones?
Is there a phone lists for cell phones? Can I find a cell phone provider by first 3 digits? Or by prefix? Do serch engines look for cell number owners? Or for land lines only?

any phone number, cell or land, has an area code, then the 7 digit number. The area code will tell you what part of the state or area you are in usually. Of course the beauty of cell phones is that when you go to get one, at the store they usually ask you what number you would like, and what city/area you want your area code to be from, so that is not really that reliable. As for ‘reverse lookup’, no that does not really work. And if you have a pre-paid cell, forget it. It’s virtually impossible to find it.
I think it’s for land lines only, but don’t quote me on that.
I thought it was only for land lines too but i could be wrong.
