Do cell phones usually not work when you exit your home state and visit like another state?
The carrier in question is Sprint and it is a new samsung phone… I went from New Jersey to Virginia. Do cell phones not sometimes work when u go to another state as in not recieving calls and texts or is it just that my phone is acting stupid?

Cell phones will work when you leave you state. You should check with your carrier for more details. Sprint is a great one for service.
You might just be in an area with crappy reception, but no- that shouldn’t make your phone crap out.
