How do I tell cell phones apart?
I don’t understand the difference between certain features on a cell phone. I know some pda cell phones work on a Windows mobile platform, and others work on the palm OS platform. What do Blackberrys operate on?

Blackberry devices use their own unique OS. The reason for this is it allows RIM (or corporate ITs) more control over the devices compared to other PDAs. This is useful for businesses but sometimes a pain for the average consumer since it forces you to have a Blackberry plan to use any of the data features that require browser capabilities such as mms.
