What is your view on cell phones causing cancer?

They were debating it on Larry King last night.
Basically, there isn’t evidence to prove that cell phones cause cancer yet, but there have been some links to suggest the idea. They’re saying it doesn’t make sense to warn the public about cell phones if we aren’t sure they are harmful.

its not about what one thinks. fact is that there is no I repeat NO convincing evidence, so keep using
What do you mean. It can happen. It does happen. As a technician and computer programer. It does emit waves that damage the brain if you use it for too long. If you go on cnet.com there is a radiation chart of every single phone. LG and Samsung where the safest(why am I not suppried) motorola was the worst. If you use wired phones there is no radiation. If you use cell phones, it does do a little damage. Thats why people use bluetooth headsets so the phone’s waves do not directly hit your head and your brain.
I think it’s complete nonsense. A cell phone is VERY limited in the amount of power it can put out, and most of that goes into the radio wave it produces. One of those tiny Christmas tree bulbs puts out twice as much as a cell phone does, and you can stand and hold THAT all day long without even getting your hand warm.
You get more radiation from your computer or your TV by FAR than you do from a cell phone. The notion that the signal could penetrate BONE is idiotic.
it’s like everything else, first they say yes it causes cancer, then no it doesn’t cause cancer, they will flipflop on this for years!!!!!
This has been an ongoing issue since cellphones first came out back in the days. I’ve been using cellphones forever and do not have cancer or anything else in my brain.
The output from cellphones now are much, much less than the first cellphones so the ‘cancer causing’ parts are less harmful.
Unless you have the cellphone stuck your ear for most of the day, cancer should not be of concern.
I think the people that are on it all the time, i.e. driving, eating, walking, sleeping, etc. should be worried about cancer – and a very expensive phone bill.

I think cell phones do cause cancer but so does everything else! Some foods cause cancer. Your computer, microwave, television, they all emit certain radiation so it can cause cancer. You cant stay away from everything. You can stay away from or use t certain things less, things you dont need or want to be around. However, you cant go around worrying all day cause basically tons of stuff may cause cancer.
