Why do people insist on talking on their cell phones whil driving?
Im sick of being flipped off by people who love to talk on their cell phones while driving doing 40 in the left lane of the 495… if cell phones and cars have blue tooth, who dont people use it?

Yeah you tell em. I almost spilled my coffee and dropped my bagel on the floor yesterday whole driving with my knees in the left lane because someone on their cell phone was inching into my lane.
some of us can actually multitask, However, i find it offensive when people drive slow in the fast lane, regardless of telephone usage…
They insist on talking on their cellphones because it is much easier then texting. If I may I would like to quote the case of Dominick vs. the state of Kansas, in which Dominick was caught having relations with a chicken. It was later found that he was doing this while driving and talking on his cell phone. All of which were deemed illegal by majority vote of the supreme court judges. So to answer your question Im not really sure why people do it if its illegal.
even cops do it.
I was being followed by a cop yesterday in the tow truck, and I tapped the brakes once, just to say HI.
He did not think it was that funny, he dropped his phone – pulled me over and asked why I hit my brakes.
I said there was a cat in the road.
he said I almosy hit you.
I told him – that would have been funny – seeings how he was talking on his cell at the time of the accident.
He asked me if I wanted a ticket.
I said sure – what for ? – Your the one breaking the law, all I did was save a cats life.
He let me go.
Because these people are narsisstic in their behavoir. They think that the world revolves around them and that they are somehow, above the law. They are a definite hazard on the road because they just don’t care. And they are cheapskates. Considering the cost of a headset, either wired or wireless, it would make sense to invest in a headset, but these boneheads would rather pay it in collision deductables and higher insurance payments.
Because thy think they might miss something if the don’t take the call. Their life is so boring that that is all they can think of to do is jabber on the phone and they are to lazy to wait till they get home to make or take a phone call.
Because just to saving time and privacy or secreat talk etc….
Didn’t you know that these people are sooo important that they must be in constant contact with the world! Heaven forbid they are out of contact for even a second…bet they go to bed with the thing strapped to the side of their heads so as not to miss a call!
Phone rings…I answer…I talk. get over it.
they feel they own the road and nobody else has any right to question any of their actions ; it is called being SPOILED
