I’m looking to get a new cell phone, but I don’t want to renew my contract because that was just done a few months ago. I don’t want to spend a fortune on it either. I want to get a Samsung t629. Does anyone know of any good websites that have cheap phones without service plans attached to them?

I want a new cell phone((cheap))
and on ebay all i see is unlocked phones what does that mean?
i have a tmobile phone and simply wish to take out my sim card and put it in a new phone?
is it safe to get one that is unlocked? Does it still work the same? And where can i get real cheap phones with out a new plan?
