I searched for quite some time on Google and couldn’t find my answer.
Will someone with Alltel prepaid (and regular) cell phones still be able to use them when Verizon takes over Alltel at the end of the year?
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
I will pick best answer.

Are there any regular Verizon cell phones that have the ability to sync up with Microsoft Outlook? I don’t want to buy a PDA/Smartphone…I just want a regular phone that can sync up with Microsoft Outlook. I just need the calendar portion of Outlook on my phone. Are there any phones that can do this?
Thanks.

I have a bad touch with cell phones. They don’t like me. Screens break, and pieces fall off, and so I need a very durable phone. Also, I prefer one that is not a flip screen, and money is an issue, so preferably a cheaper one.
I am with Verizon, by the way.
Thanks!
Yay! Dropping durability is good!

Let’s say I have a Verizon cell phone, my friend has a Sprint cell phone, and my other friend has a Cingular cell phone. We all have the same area code. Is there a way to know if the three phones will tell the same time without actually putting them side-by-side and comparing them? Do cell phones use a cell tower to get their time? What do cell towers use? Do the various major carriers all use the same source to set their clocks?
Thank you for the answer re: networks recording when calls are made. Do all networks (e.g., Verizon and Cingular) synchronize off the same time source? Is this something regulated by the Government?

I am seeking information for a study regarding the top selling cell phones of the last 18 months. I am trying to find a list that shows the top 5 or 6 best selling mobile devices (including smartphones, PDA’s, etc.) for each of the major carriers. (Verizon, AT&T / Cingular, Sprint / Nextel, Alltel Wireless, T-Mobile). I am hoping to be able to go back to January 2006 with this information if possible. Thanks!

I’m going to get a new cell phone for my birthday and I’m currently stuck between the Omnia, Dare, and Versa. BUT I was just wondering if there were any new Verizon phones coming out soon (within a month or so) that would interest a soon to be 14 year old that doesn’t use the Internet his phone. Oh and when does the LG Arena come out? And which of the first three should I get?
